WHAT DOES AN USTA MEAN?

In Arabic, Turkish or Persian, an ‘Usta’ means a master or a craftsman; a guru so-to-speak.     


HOW DO I KNOW IF THE SERVICE PROVIDERS (AKA USTAS) ON MR USTA ARE RELIABLE?

All Ustas on our platform have been carefully vetted by our team. They all have a valid trade license and the required experience to carry out the service categories they operate in. 


WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INSTANT BOOKING AND GET QUOTES?

With 'Instant Booking', prices are fixed and we assign only top-rated Ustas to your request depending on their availability and the communities they service. It’s ideal for customers that want convenience and peace of mind; the fastest way to book a top-rated Usta and guarantee you receive a superior service quality. 

The 'Get Quotes' booking option on the hand, is ideal for customers that are price conscious and would rather receive multiple quotes, negotiate and select the Usta themselves.   


WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I POST A GET QUOTES SERVICE REQUEST?

Once you’ve successfully posted a ‘Get Quotes’ service request, you will start receiving quotes intermittently from various Ustas. You will be able to chat and negotiate with them directly on our platform. You also have the option of checking the Usta rating by clicking on their name and going through customer reviews to help with your selection process.


WHAT DO I DO AFTER I IDENTIFY THE USTA I’D LIKE TO PROCEED WITH?

If you would like to proceed with an Usta, you will first need to ‘Accept Quote’ so that your service request is assigned to them.  


CAN I CANCEL A BOOKING?

Yes, you can cancel a booking that has already been assigned to an Usta, however, note that if cancelled within 48 hours of your job date, 25 credits will be deducted from your loyalty credits. If cancelled on the same day as your job date, 50 credits will be deducted from your loyalty credits.


HOW DO I EARN LOYALTY CREDITS FROM A SERVICE I BOOKED?

Once you have received your service, you will have to ‘Close Job’ and rate the Usta, so that you can receive 5% of the value of your job back in loyalty credits. Learn more about our Loyalty Program.


I RECEIVED A BAD SERVICE FROM AN USTA, WHO DO I COMPLAIN TO?

Kindly notify our customer relationship team immediately on support@mrusta.com or 800 USTA and we will make sure to get back to you within 48 hours. 


WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE USTA?

We have recently categorized Ustas on our platform in 3 tiers to help our customers differentiate between Ustas that have a more premium service quality and pricing vs market average, 3rd party insurance, certifications (local or international) and years in business.
